August's Meal Plan

It is back to school month, and while I'm not ready for summer to be over, I am also excited for cooler weather, pumpkins, football and routines. With that transition in my mind, I am choosing easy recipes that come together quickly, because those first few weeks of teaching are exhausting as we all find our rhythm. Here's what we're eating this month!


Week 1 (8/1 - 8/7)

Monday: Hot Honey Chicken Toasty Sandwiches w/ Sweet Potato Fries Tuesday: Eat Out Wednesday: Tuna Melts w/ Chips Thursday: Leftovers Friday: Steak and Fries Salad Saturday: Naan Pizza Sunday: YOYO (You're On Your Own)


Week 2 (8/8 - 8/14)

Monday: Eat Out

Tuesday: Cobb Salads

Wednesday: Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Loaded Mashed Potatoes

Thursday: Berry Salad w/ Lemon-Pepper Chicken

Friday: Frozen Pizza

Saturday: Spaghetti w/ Salad

Sunday: YOYO (You're On Your Own)


Week 3 (8/15 - 8/21)

Monday: Bean Tostadas w/ Queso and Guacamole

Tuesday: Subs w/ Chips

Wednesday: Sushi in a Bowl

Thursday: Meatloaf w/ Smashed Potatoes and Cheesy Broccoli

Friday: Leftovers

Saturday: Air Fryer Sausage w/ Potatoes and Onions

Sunday: YOYO (You're On Your Own)


Week 4 (8/22 - 8/28)

Monday: Proscuitto and Burrata Sandwiches

Tuesday: Summer Baked Ziti w/ Salad

Wednesday: Taco Bake, Queso and Guacamole

Thursday: Leftovers

Friday: Italian Dressing Chicken Breasts (marinate in dressing and bake) w/ Salad and Sweet Potato Gnocchi

Saturday: Totchos and Cheddar Bacon Ranch Dip

Sunday: YOYO (You're On Your Own)


Week 4 (8/29 - 9/4)

Monday: One-Pan Ranch Pork Chops with Roasted Potatoes and Green Beans Tuesday: Orange Chicken w/ Cauliflower Rice and Vegetable Nests Wednesday: Vegetarian Stuffed Peppers Thursday: Leftovers

Friday: Eat Out

Saturday: Eat Out

Sunday: YOYO (You're On Your Own)
