Meet Leah!

Hey y'all! My name is Leah. I'm so glad you're here! I'm a teacher by day and a travel designer/blogger by night. At Lately with Leah, you can expect to find easy and delicious recipes, plus tips and tricks for planning your next Disney vacation.

Hey y'all! My name is Leah. I am a wife and fur mama, as well as a middle school ELA teacher. My husband and I have been married for 3 years, and we have a 4 year old golden retriever named Remi. I graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor's in English and went back to school 2 years later to get a Master's in Teaching. At some point, I will write a post and share my testimony of how I ended up in the classroom. It was a total God thing! 

 

 

So, what can you expect in this space? I share about all of my favorite things. Growing up, my grandmother taught me how to cook and instilled in me a love for cooking. The kitchen is my favorite place to be. I love to try new recipes and cook good food for my husband, which I am excited to share with you. I also enjoy reading books, so you can expect to see reviews of the good, the bad and the ugly, as well as a list of the books that I am reading this year. Lastly, you can expect to see home decor ideas and updates about our life in general.
